Mayor Pam Palmer has served as Mayor of The City of Adamsville since first being elected in 2008. She and her husband Gary have 9 children, 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Being the daughter of “Crazy Bill”, Mrs. Palmer owns and operates Crazy Bill’s Fireworks with locations throughout Alabama, and several other corporations. One of her proudest moments include receiving a Joint Resolution from the Alabama Senate & House for her extensive work with Children’s Hospital promoting Child Safety. Mayor Palmer is a 1981 Graduate of Minor High School. She holds an Associates of Business and an Associates of Science in Nursing. Being a businesswoman for 41 years, she also makes time for many community service projects. She is currently the President of The Alabama Fireworks Association, St. Patrick Catholic Church Chairperson of Finance, member of the Adamsville Lions Club, President of the West Jefferson County Civitan Club, Chairperson of St. Patrick’s Springfest Committee and CMO Alabama League of Municipalities.
